So which area is the so called secret Owner-Occupied & Investor Gold Mine?
Nerang, Gold Coast, Australia
Yes Nerang, Gold Coast! Why is Nerang the secret suburb that not many know about and the ones that discover this suburb fall in love?.
1. Short Drive to the Famous Gold Coast beaches
It’s a suburb within a short drive from the famous Gold Coast beaches, taking only approximately 15 minutes to your closes beach. There are 3 ways to get from Nerang to the Gold Coast beach with reliable transportation including taxi and or bus service, the 740 bus line takes only 20 minutes to get to the main beach and it is an easy 15-minute drive by taxi.
As you approach the Gold Coast Main Beach, you will taste the fresh salty beach air, and be met with the energetic feeling that only Gold Coast can provide.
What do we think about the Gold Coast?
Wonderful sunny weather and warm waters all year round mean people are outdoors most of the time and enjoying barbeques, pools, beaches, creeks, mountains and water sports.
We love bare feet walks on the golden sand! sun-kissed afternoons, curling waves, best surf beaches and boundless barbeque beach days here on the Gold Coast!

2. Minutes to the Beautiful Hinterland
The Gold Coast hinterland is known to many locals, it is an area of South East Queensland, Australia that comprises the Tweed Range, Nimmel Range, Tamborine Mountain, Numinbah Valley, eastern parts of the McPherson Range and western parts of suburban Gold Coast.
These areas are known for their tourist attractions including resorts, rainforests, lookouts, national parks, its diversity of fauna and flora and as a green backdrop to the coastal strip.
Locals and Visitors map out the hinterland’s parks and forests as set out during the weekend as a destination to unwind. Many take up wine-tasting, bird-feeding, bushwalking as hobbies in the hinterland
The region has a significant natural heritage that is preserved in national parks and has been a major tourist drawcard.
There are several waterfalls, including the famous Purling brook Falls, and also many gorges and much rainforest.
However, my favorite place to visit, is the famous “The Polish Place” a great polish / European restaurant that provides the tastiest and authentic cuisines

3. Nerang Public & Private School
The quality of early childhood education, primary, secondary and tertiary education within a residential area commonly define the community and the wellbeing of that area.
Nerang has many schools which stand out and influence cultural unity and vibrance within the surrounding areas.
Here are just three schools out of the many others that also influence the Nerang community and culture (in no particular order):
- Emmanuel College (https://www.emmanuel.qld.edu.au)
- Emmanuel College is a co-educational, multi-denominational school with just over 1600 students, valued by the Gold Coast community for our strong commitment to achieving educational excellence within a framework of thoughtful, intelligent and vibrant Christian faith.
- St Brigid’s Primary School (http://www.sb.qld.edu.au/)
- St Brigid’s offer a quality educational experience for students from Preparatory to Year Six.
- Through its curriculum and courses, its celebration and worship rituals, its cultivation of the aesthetics and its Religious Education program, the school attempts to give witness to the essential wholeness of the human experience – social, moral, physical, spiritual and intellectual development
- Nerang State High School (https://nerangshs.eq.edu.au)
- Nerang State High School is committed to the provision of courses of study, programs of personal development and extracurricular activities aimed at assisting each individual to reach his/her full potential academically, socially, morally and physically.
- Nerang’s State High School philosophy points to the future and represents the dynamic movement forward of modern education. The stars in our logo are symbolic not only of the Southern Cross but also of a school with young Australians reaching out for the stars – reaching out for their goals
If I could sum up Nerang, It would be the small ripples the people who live in Nerang make to improve the lives of the wider Gold Coast community. Similar to this quote once expressed by Mother Teresa.
I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.
Mother Teresa
In summary, Nerang has a great community, centrally located, situated near the Nerang River.
Nerang provides value, with properties sustainably increasing in their value. The average land size is on average 600 to 700 sqm, has a gorgeous town-like appearance, the community enjoys picnics, boating, and or fishing with a platform at Arthur Earle Park allowing easy access to catch the bream, whiting, flathead, and trevally which inhabit these waters.
Offers recreational facilities with state-of-the-art interpretative center, lakeside parks, walking, bike and horse trails. Don’t forget all the barbecue areas and dog areas available.
This suburb is perfect for anyone looking to relocate and have their piece of the pie, it’s a perfect place where you can purchase and renovate for those creative people and it’s perfect for investment.
It’s a quiet and respectful area with many families of all types, diversity and cultures.
